I picked up my art from the Midwest City Library last week! Thank you, Midwest City Library for letting the art stay a while and to those who took a gander at the gallery.

One of the highlights was the Stingray Naming Box. Yes, the poor stingray who recently endured a full background renovation needed a little identity help. (He’s very patient with me.)

Thanks to everyone who dropped in their suggestions!

The art is on the move; and he’ll be traveling next to The Village Art Festival on Saturday, October 11th, so stop by to meet him in person and find out if he has a brand-new name yet.

You’ll also be able to check in on the Merry Men of Mount Rushmore. (Spoiler: there hasn’t been much progress in the last few weeks.) As always, I’ll have a table stocked with 2026 calendars, notecards, postcards, and of course, original paintings.

If you’re in the area, come say hello. I love catching up with old friends and meeting new ones!

Thanks for reading The 3rd Flamingo—a blog for art lovers, creative wanderers, and anyone who’s ever made a beautiful mess.
