November arrives with a crispness that makes the world feel under a subtle, icy gaze.

O.M.G.! Still Watching — November’s Stone-Cold Witness

The days shorten, the air sharpens, and somewhere in the quiet of the month, a monk sits perfectly still, eyes locked, silently taking notes. This month’s painting, O.M.G.! Still Watching, captures that feeling exactly—he’s November’s stone-cold witness, observing everything without flinching, silently recording the world as it unfolds.

What you can’t tell from the painting is that this monk isn’t simply staring—he’s practicing his trademark O.M.G.! Still Watching technique. As a stone-cold witness, he has seen a thousand fleeting trends: chanting circles that sounded like off-key karaoke, essential oil obsessions, mindfulness apps promising instant enlightenment, even goat yoga (he still isn’t sure whether the goats were laughing at him or with him). And through it all, his expression hasn’t shifted a fraction.

As a child, he could focus on a single blade of grass for hours, daring it to move. Once, a butterfly landed on his nose mid-meditation, and he didn’t flinch until it left. Teachers stopped calling on him, not because he didn’t know the answers, but because his silent, unblinking stare erased all context. Over the years, that same patience has become a cosmic, “Really? That’s what you went with?” He isn’t reacting—he’s observing, cataloging, and waiting for the perfect moment to let the world realize it’s being O.M.G.! Still Watched. Somewhere in his mind, your name is filed neatly under: “Hmm.”

Maybe he stays because fads fade but awkwardness is eternal. Or maybe he just enjoys sitting still while the world unfolds around him, leaving everyone wondering if they passed an unspoken test. Whatever the reason, his presence quietly dominates November, the month’s energy folded into every glance. He truly is a stone-cold witness—unmoving, unbothered, and completely aware.

Try your own O.M.G.! Still Watching moment. Think of a time you silently observed something strange, awkward, or ridiculous—and said nothing yet absorbed everything. Draw it, write it, or simply capture the feeling.

The quiet gaze of November fades slowly into December’s more expressive moods—brace yourself.
