A Change of Scenery at StreetSmARTs
November has arrived, and I decided it was time for a change of scenery at StreetSmARTs
This time, I decided to take everything down and start over.
Every single painting.
October's dragons, mysterious characters, and O.M.G. Monks have all gone home. November brings an entirely different collection.
Matt came along for the fun of helping me give the gallery a change of scenery. He foolishly thought I would have everything laid out and know exactly where each painting should go.
Shame on him. I didn't.
I knew I wanted Bird Words, my two pink flamingos who appear to be having a conversation, or perhaps bickering, front and center. With that plan in mind, we started arranging the wall. Due to my lack of organization, and much to Matt's dismay, we ended up moving several paintings more than once.
Kayak Canyon is also making its first appearance at StreetSmARTs. It's a colorful canyon landscape with one sole and lonely ant paddling upstream.
I've also added a few prepackaged gift options, including assorted note card packs, 2027 calendars, and even some postcard packs. If you have someone on your Christmas list who has everything, something from The 3rd Flamingo would make the PERFECT gift.
StreetSmARTs is having its November First Friday open house on Friday, November 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
I'll be there, so come see the new display, say hello, and check on that lonely ant still paddling upstream.
If you can't make it Friday, the artwork and gift items will still be there throughout November.
